Our Founder - Diane Monahan

The Founder and Executive Director of The Friends For Pets Foundation is Diane Monahan.

Diane has been doing rescue since 1985 and has the knowledge, patience, heart and gentleness that each of these dogs require when entering the rescue. She has been blessed with a sixth sense for understanding the needs of each individual dog.

Through many years of experience, Diane has come to be an expert in the breeds she handles, especially in their diverse health issues, as well as their behaviors and temperaments.
