Your donation will help us care for the more than 50 neglected and abandoned dogs that we are trying to find good homes for. As the Friends For Pets Foundation is 100% volunteer run, no one receives a salary, meaining all donations directly benefit the animals.
What Your Gift Can Accomplish
- $30 provides food for a dog for one month
- $50 buys a dog slated for euthanasia out of the animal shelter
- $75 provides one day's enjoyment of rawhides for everyone
- $150 provides one day's veterinary care for a sick dog
- $1,800 pays one month's veterinary bills

What Else Will My Donation Be Used For?
Running Friends For Pets costs over $7,500 a month:
- Innova kibble, canned food, biscuits, chewies: $2,000+ a month
- Veterinary Care: $1,800+ a month (2007 expenses exceeded $50,000)
- Kennel Mortgage: $2,000 a month
- Utilities: $600+ a month (we have no air conditioning nor heating!)
- Shelter Buy-Outs: $150+ a month
- Microchip Registrations: $100+ a month
- Fire, liability, auto insurance are additional costs.
- Property taxes are an additional cost.
- Property repairs (repair leaking roof) are an additional cost.
- Basics such as laundry detergent, bleach, disinfectants, copier paper are additional costs.
- Printing and mailing costs of the annual Newsletter are additional.

- Please keep in mind that we are 100% volunteer-staffed. No one receives any compensation or salary.
- Our IRS reports may be obtained from GuideStar.org or directly from us. (We do request a $10.00 fee for copying/mailing costs.)
